2006 Washington St – 10th floor

Our customer, Moroso Construction of San Francisco, requested Nichols to figure out how to saw cut, break, and remove the exterior wall to enlarge existing window openings without dropping debris down 10 stories’. Our team determined the safest way to saw cut the wall was to carefully lower the sections of wall with cables and chain fall to pull in sections into building. Moroso Construction hired a sky crawler to get access to outside the building. Nichols crew was required to provide strict water control to prevent the slurry water from dripping down the side of the building and down into the suite below.
