Our customer, Moroso Construction of San Francisco, requested Nichols to remove an existing concrete 46″ wide x 38″ deep x 9′ high Abandoned concrete trash shoot on the 3rd-floor tenant improvement. Nichols had to saw cut 15″ deep on both sided of the shoot structure, leaving 2″ of concrete at the structural column monophyly poured behind the shoot and requiring the cutting the structural beam above so there was no damage to the floor above.
