Nichols was hired by Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Inc. to remove the existing concrete off the existing tin to access and repair the water proof membrane under the concrete. Due to the working hours, noise restrictions, and the tight schedule, Nichols saw cut the slab into blocks during the hours of 4:00 am to 9:00 am when noisy work was allowed and hand removed the concrete blocks after 9:00 am to completed the job on schedule. Adding to the difficulty, Nichols could not cut into tin decking below the concrete as it was remaining and could not be damaged. More importantly, no damage could be allowed to the historical sand stone building. We completed this project on time and to our customer’s complete satisfaction.
